Douglas Grace Paper

Collection terms & conditions

These terms apply to personalized, semi-custom, and made-to-order wedding stationery and event paper goods purchased from Douglas Grace Paper. Please review them carefully before placing an order.

Design specifications

Douglas Grace Paper creates luxury stationery and personalized event goods based on the selected collection, options, dimensions, materials, and information provided at checkout or during design. Product photographs and digital previews are illustrative; minor differences in scale, placement, texture, and finish are inherent to handmade and printed goods.

Semi-custom collection limitations

Semi-custom collections use established designs and include only changes expressly offered for that collection. Structural redesigns, new illustrations, extensive layout changes, custom artwork, or other changes may require a separate quote. We may decline requests that compromise design or production quality.

Client responsibilities

Clients are solely responsible for complete and accurate names, spelling, grammar, punctuation, wording, dates, times, venues, addresses, quantities, colors, sizes, and event details. Clients must have authority to use all supplied content.

Proofing & approvals

Production timelines begin only after all required information, payment, and proof approvals are received. Clients must review every proof for spelling, grammar, punctuation, wording, dates, addresses, quantities, and event details. Approval may be written or electronic.

Client-approved errors

Approval transfers responsibility for all approved content to the client. Douglas Grace Paper is not responsible for errors in an approved proof. Reprints required due to client-approved errors are the client’s financial responsibility, including design, production, shipping, and related costs.

Revisions

Included revisions, if any, are limited to the applicable collection or quote. Additional revisions, reopened files, or changes after approval may incur fees and extend the timeline. Revisions may not be possible after production begins.

Production timelines

Estimated production timelines are not guarantees and vary by product, quantity, materials, season, and approvals. Douglas Grace Paper does not guarantee delivery by the client’s event date. Clients must allow time for addressing, postage, carrier transit, and unforeseen issues.

Delays caused by client

Delays in information, proof responses, approvals, payments, quantities, or decisions may move the schedule. We are not responsible for consequences of client-caused delays.

Rush orders

Rush service is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Rush fees may apply and do not guarantee delivery by an event date.

Printing & color variations

Color varies between screens, proof formats, paper stocks, print runs, and methods. Slight variation, texture, registration, trimming, and natural paper characteristics are not defects. Exact color matching is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

Material & paper availability

If paper, envelopes, ribbon, embellishments, or other components become unavailable, Douglas Grace Paper may substitute comparable materials and will reasonably preserve the intended aesthetic.

Order quantities

Clients are responsible for sufficient quantities, including keepsakes, addressing errors, damaged pieces, and last-minute needs. Normal production tolerances do not create a right to cancel or refund.

Shipping

Carrier estimates are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for lost, delayed, misdelivered, stolen, or damaged shipments after transfer to the carrier, but will reasonably assist with claims.

Event date responsibility

The client is solely responsible for an order schedule allowing time for design, approvals, production, shipping, addressing, postage, and mailing. We do not guarantee delivery by the event date.

Address list responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for accurate, complete, timely, and properly formatted address lists. We are not responsible for returned or undeliverable mail caused by inaccurate or incomplete addresses.

Postage

Douglas Grace Paper does not provide or guarantee postage calculations or recommendations. Clients are solely responsible for obtaining proper postage from USPS and confirming mailing requirements. We are not responsible for returned mail, insufficient postage, lost mail, delayed mail, damaged mail, or postal service issues.

Returns, refunds & cancellations

All personalized and made-to-order products are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once production has begun. Before production, requests require written approval and may be reduced by work completed, materials, and fees.

Reprints

Reprints are not included unless stated in writing. Reprints caused by client-approved errors, changed preferences, inaccurate information, lost or damaged mail, insufficient postage, or client-requested changes are billed to the client. Manufacturing claims must be raised promptly with photographs.

Abandoned projects

Inactive projects may be closed after 90 days without refund. Reopening is subject to availability, updated pricing, fees, and a new timeline.

Photography & portfolio rights

Douglas Grace Paper may use images of completed work for marketing, website, social media, publication submissions, advertising, and portfolio purposes. Clients may request exclusion of identifiable personal information in writing before production or delivery.

Intellectual property & copyright

All design work, artwork, files, proofs, layouts, templates, and creative concepts remain Douglas Grace Paper’s intellectual property unless a separate written transfer states otherwise. Purchase does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. Clients are responsible for supplied content and authorize its use for fulfillment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Douglas Grace Paper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, missed events, deadlines, invitations, or opportunities. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, supply chain issues, weather, natural disasters, equipment failures, illness, labor disruptions, outages, government action, or circumstances outside reasonable control. We may adjust timelines, substitute materials, suspend work, or cancel an affected order with an appropriate accounting.

Chargebacks & payment disputes

Clients agree to contact us promptly before initiating a dispute. Chargebacks on custom products produced according to approved proofs may be contested with order records, approvals, communications, and delivery information. Clients remain responsible for undisputed amounts and improper-dispute fees.

Privacy

Personal and address information is used to process orders, communicate, provide services, and meet legal or operational requirements in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Clients must have permission to share third-party information.

Right to refuse service

Douglas Grace Paper may refuse service, decline a request, or cancel an order at its discretion, including where content, conduct, timing, payment risk, capacity, quality standards, or legal obligations warrant. If we cancel before completion, we will provide any legally required or agreed refund less amounts earned or committed.
