Douglas Grace Paper

Everything you need to know before beginning your wedding paper. From choosing the right collection to proofing, printing, enhancements and wedding-day details, we’ve gathered the questions we hear most often.

Getting started

Our three invitation experiences are designed for different levels of customization. Classic is our most streamlined option, Signature allows you to personalize one of our established designs, and Custom Design is created completely from scratch for your wedding.
We recommend beginning several months before your desired mailing date. Your timeline will depend on your collection, print method, proofing and any enhancements you select. Starting early gives you the most flexibility.
Yes. Douglas Grace Paper is based in Atlanta and works with couples nationwide. Our design and proofing process can be completed virtually.

The Signature Collection

Signature is our semi-custom invitation experience. Begin with a Douglas Grace font and layout style, then personalize your suite through color, paper, printing, envelope choices, liners, monograms and select enhancements.
Signature suites are available as three-, four- and five-piece options. The right suite depends on how much information you need to share and whether you plan to collect RSVPs online or by mail.
Signature designs are built around established typography and layouts, so fonts and overall composition remain as designed. You can still make the suite feel distinctly yours through color, paper, printing and finishing details.
Available enhancements may include envelope liners, wax seals, belly bands, silk ribbon, die-cut details, double envelopes, specialty printing, edge treatments, monograms and select custom artwork.
Yes. Coordinating rehearsal dinner or welcome party cards may be added to a Signature order.

The Classic Collection

Classic is our easiest and most streamlined invitation experience. These suites have been completely designed by our studio and are intended to be ordered largely as shown.
Your names, wedding details and wording are personalized for your celebration. The artwork, fonts, colors and layout remain part of the original design.
Classic is intentionally kept simple. Double envelopes and assembly may be available, but most Signature enhancements are not offered within this collection.

Custom Design

Custom Design is our most personalized experience and begins with a completely original creative direction for your wedding. Typography, artwork, color, layout and finishing details are developed specifically for your celebration.
Custom Design begins at $3,500 for 50 digitally printed invitation suites. Letterpress, foil, custom artwork and specialty finishing may increase the investment.
Custom Design includes up to five rounds of proofs.
Yes. Custom invitation clients may continue working with us for coordinated day-of paper and event details so the wedding feels cohesive from the first envelope to the final celebration.

Proofing + production

After your order and personalization details are submitted, we create your first digital proof. Signature and Classic orders include up to two proof rounds. Custom Design includes up to five.
Production depends on your print method. Digital printing is generally the quickest, while foil and letterpress require additional production time. Your estimated timeline will be confirmed before production begins.
